camouflage - Confidence or Courage

This is some interesting number plate I saw in traffic near Vasant Nagar, I am sure you might have seen a lot of number plates like this, what makes it interesting is the chain of thoghts that caught my mind for some time.

The Vehicle number is TN-38-R-1273 but written in kannada.

Is the owner trying to Camouflage in the times of riot ? or is it the confidence that people who roit in the name of kannada in few unfortunate incidents can hardly read Kannada ?

Is it not true ?

people Riot over things that hardly concern them or affect them ?

People have time energy to make fuss about "My Name is Khan", V day and 100 useless things, while we continue to be challanged by basic questions of Health, Education and Child rights.

should we not be spending our time and energy in some constructive activities ?

This is the Banner I saw outside Northside Manipal, Dont know if I should feel bad about the kannada on the banner or Feel good about the fact that almost full banner is in Kannada. I think I will choose the second option.
