Trip to Great Wall

I was in China, and it was my third visit both my previous visits were of 2 Weeks each and had not found time to try anything more then visiting SEG Electronics Market and Dongman mostly to boost Chineese Economy :-).

This time china trip was just after I found my soulmate, infact the very next day, and was for a long time 6 Weeks to be perfect :-(, but the difference was I was not alone this time, we had a GOF ( Gang of Four ) other than me.

We reached Shenzhen on 28th of May and started the one roof integraton activity for WACS5000. paralley we started working on the Great trip to the Great of China, a most awaited trip but being a land of unknown language had a long prepration to be made.

Preprations

Our guide in the prepration were Shashi and Gowri, gave us lot of input on how to go about in Beijing, Air booking, Hotel booking but most importently the translation service, Gowri made some importent translations like

Noodles without Meet, Fish and Egg.
Fried Rice without Meet, Fish and Egg.
Take me to Airport.

We got our booking done from Business center at Panglin Judian ( Hotel were stayed )

Shenzhen - Peaking - 16th June 2006. 7:20 PM Air China flight.
Peaking - Shenzhen - 18th June 2006. 10:00 PM Shenzhen Airlines.

Got the hotel booked at Airport plaza. at 450 RMB per room / Night.

Reaching.

So far so good, we left office early on Friday and as expected with an unsolved Crashing problem, reached the Shenzhen Airport and took off to Peaking.

During the flight booking we had forgotten to make special request for the Vegetarian food, we were offered real special Chineese food, but on the guy was kind enough to offer us some buns ( 25 buns to be precise :-)), Priyesh was not hungry but managed to gulp 5 buns :-)

We Reached Peaking at 10:30, The person from hotel had come pick us up and we reached hotel by 11:00 PM, to get shocked to hear that there are no rooms :-(. May Flights in Beijing had got delayed and people had not checked out from the hotel, the hotel guys managed to put us in a different place, Beijing internationl Aviation club. reached this place at 12:30 AM, CN had to pledge his Credit card for security and got into the room and crashed.
